Suzаnа Ignjаtоvić  (PhD in sociology) is a Senior Research Associate at the Institute of Social Sciences (Belgrade). Her scientific interests include sociology of health, sociology of public policy, sociology of science and knowledge, sociology of family, life course and gender, and sociological and anthropological theory.  She has published articles in high-ranking journals (European Sociological Review, Journal of Youth Studies, European Journal of Women's Studies, Ethnos) and authored and co-authored several books (among others, the edited collection Gender Equality in a Global Perspective, Routledge, 2017). She has been engaged by international organizations (World Health Organization, UNOPS, IOM) as an expert in the social determinants of health, social policy, and vulnerable populations (including Roma population in Serbia and Ukraine, refugees, and flood-affected population).
