Zvonko Magić graduated at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade. He is Head of the Institute for Medical Research, Military Medical Academy (MMA) and a Full Professor of Human Genetics at the Medical Faculty of the MMA, where he teaches Medical Ethics, Clinical Oncology and Clinical Genetics. He teaches Bioethics at doctoral studies at the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade. He has been an invited lecturer at many national and international conferences. Zvonko Magić has published 275 articles, out of which 141 in extenso. Dr. Magić is chairman of the National Committee for Bioethics of the UNESCO Commission of Serbia. He participated in the organization of 4 international conferences in the field of bioethics. He is member of the Medical Academy of the Serbian Medical Society, the Balkan Union of Oncology, the Committee of Bioethics (DH-BIO) at the Council of Europe, the UNESCO International Forum of Teachers of Bioethics, as well as the Ethics Committee of MMA.
