Vladimir Milisavljević

Vladimir Milisavljević, PhD (2005), MA (1996) and BA (1990) in Philosophy, from the University of Belgrade. He works as a Senior Research Associate at the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory of the University of Belgrade. His main topics of interest are Kant and German Idealism, Contemporary French and German philosophy (Deleuze, Derrida, Schmitt, Benjamin, Henrich) and Early Modern Philosophy (Hobbes). He authored two monographs on Hegel and Classical German philosophy: Identity and Reflection: The Problem of Self-Consciousness in Hegel’s Philosophy, 2006, Belgrade: Zavod za udžbenike i nastavna sredstva, and Strength of Existence: Theory of Norm in Kant and Hegel, 2010, Belgrade: Fedon, both in Serbian, as well as several dozens of articles, some of them in international volumes or reviews. Since 2011 Vladimir Milisavljević is a researcher on a project on bioethics of the Serbian Ministry of Education and Science.
